Learn what the Duux Extension Tube Whisper Flex 2 Smart Greige does, which fans it fits, and how to use it without stacking two tubes.
Quick answer
The Duux Extension Tube Whisper Flex 2 Smart Greige adds height to your Whisper Flex 2 Smart fan, but it is designed as a single replacement tube and cannot be stacked with a second tube.
What the Greige color means for your room
The Greige finish is a blend of grey and beige that works well in modern interiors. If your Whisper Flex 2 Smart already has a Greige base or grille, this tube will match seamlessly. If you have a white or black fan, the color difference will be noticeable, so check your fan’s color before ordering.
Why you cannot stack two extension tubes
The catalog facts explicitly state that this tube is not suitable for placing two tubes on top of each other. That means you cannot double the height by buying two tubes. If you need a taller setup, consider placing the fan on a stable surface instead of relying on multiple tubes.
Frequently asked questions
- Which fans does the extension tube fit?
- The tube fits only the Duux Whisper Flex 2 Smart fan, model type DXCF72. It will not work with the Whisper Flex 2 (non-Smart) or the Whisper 3 series. Check your fan’s model label before buying.
- Can I use the tube to raise the fan higher?
- Yes, the tube adds height between the fan head and the base. However, you cannot stack two tubes on top of each other to increase height further. One tube is the maximum.
- Is the Greige tube a replacement or an accessory?
- It is sold as a replacement extension tube. If you already have a tube in a different color or a damaged tube, this Greige version can replace it. It is not an extra accessory to add to an existing tube. Use it to replace an existing tube, not to add a second one.
- What if my fan is not Greige?
- The tube color will be visible on the fan stand. If your fan is white or black, the Greige tube will stand out. For a uniform look, choose a tube that matches your fan’s color. Consider the color match before ordering.
